This year, we wanted to give you some tips on how you can make your man love his skin, just as a much as you love yours. Your man deserves to age gracefully like you, so here are some tips on how you can make him appreciate his skin!

1. Start him off with simple skin care – As with many things, the easier the better. Before overloading him with toners, serums, moisturizers and the works, start him off with a product that is easy as 1, 2, 3! A foaming, pump cleanser like our Sea Cleanse is a great example – It is easy to dispense, lathers on smoothly, and rinses off with no fuss, mess, or complications! It can also be used as a supplement to his shaving cream! You can also introduce him to a One-Minute Exfoliating Mask. He can use it in the shower before going to work or as a pre-shave exfoliator. It’s quick, and will leave him with skin where he can really feel and see a difference!

2. Explain the benefits to him – Many men are rational decision makers. Men want to get straight to the point, and know the benefits and reasons for using a particular product. When introducing him to a cleanser, for example, it’s important to explain to him why he must cleanse – cleansing is the first and most important step in proper skincare, and its purpose is to remove dirt, debris, and impurities from the skin to prevent breakouts and promote healthy skin. Explaining to him why needs it rather than just telling him he does will make a difference!

3. Relate to him – Does your man work long hours or maybe he is rocking the lumberjack beard? If either may pertain to his lifestyle, there is skincare to relate. For example, men who works long hours are known to show signs of aging in the eye area, so an eye cream can help him reverse the effects of dark circles, wrinkles and crowfeet that may develop without proper care. For a man rocking a beard, it’s important to take care of the skin below the beard! A cleanser, like Sea Cleanse, can also act as a conditioner to the beard along with a facial cleanser. If you can relate skincare to his lifestyle, you can get him on track in no time!
